SECTION 5.22 DISPOSITIONAL ALTERNATIVES.
If the minor has been adjudicated a juvenile offender, the plan of disposition and treatment may provide for:
(1) Placement of the child on probation with the supervision of the probation officer or other designated Court official.
(2) May require the child, as a condition of the probation, to report for assignment to a supervised work program, which program shall be a constructive nature designed to promote rehabilitation, appropriate to the age level and physical ability of the child, and shall be combined with counseling from a probation officer or other designated Court official.
(3) May require, at the discretion of the Juvenile Judge, as a condition of probation, that the juvenile offender be held in a jail facility up to fifteen (15) days, such detention to be in a cell separate from adult prisoners or inmates, under adequate twenty-four (24) hours a day supervision.
The dispositional order entered hereunder, however, shall not deprive a child of schooling appropriate to his age, needs and specific rehabilitative goals.
Dispositional orders are to be in effect for a time limit set by the Juvenile Court but such orders shall not continue after the child reaches the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
Dispositional orders are to be reviewed at the Juvenile Court’s discretion, but shall be reviewed at least once every three (3) months. […] SECTION 5.19 PRE-DISPOSITIONAL HEARING.
Following adjudication, the Juvenile Court shall require an officer of the Court to present the Court within ten (10) days, a plan of disposition and treatment which shall specify the length and type of treatment, location of treatment program if outside the child’s home, guardianship of the child during the treatment program, and other details as the Court may require.
The officer of the Court designated to prepare said report shall submit said report to the Juvenile Court, the minor, the minor’s parents, guardian or other custodian, the minor’s attorney and the Juvenile Court prosecutor (Presenting Officer) in a sufficient amount of time so that adequate preparation might be made before dispositional hearing.
