§16.04.160 Sentencing
1. Any person who has been convicted in the Tribal Court of a criminal offense under the laws of this Chapter may be sentenced to one or a combination of the following penalties:
a. Imprisonment for a period up to the maximum permitted by the section defining the offense, but in no case for longer than one year; and
b. A fine in an amount up to the maximum permitted by the section defining the offense, but in no case greater than $5,000; and
c. Community service computed at a service rate not less than would be the minimum wage, provided that the Defendant’s physical capabilities or limitations are properly taken into account when sentencing to Community Service.
