Call for Proposals – Restorative Justice in Legal Education: A Virtual Symposium for Law Students

The aim of this one-day, virtual, gathering is to explore the applicability of restorative justice content and practices in the law school context and what restorative approaches have to offer the field of legal education. The gathering will focus on the perspectives of law students. We are currently seeking proposals from current law students, aspiring law students, and recent law school graduates to present on the panels. The focus of the two panels are: (1) How can restorative justice be integrated into JD curriculum? and (2) How can restorative practices be used in law school communities to impact institutional culture (paying particular attention to the classroom context)? The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday, July 14, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. ET and responses to proposals will take place no later than Friday, July 28, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. ET.
