Court-ordered and court-referred mediation prohibited. The court shall not order defendants and victims of the crime of domestic violence, or willful violation of court order into mediation or any other type of couples counseling, alternative justice, restorative justice, peace-making, circle sentencing, or any other mediation type of situation that would put the victim in the position of dealing directly with the defendant, even if the victim has the right to refuse to participate.
