6.15.200 Criminal Penalties.
Upon conviction of a criminal violation of this Title the defendant may be sentenced to a fine of a minimum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) and a maximum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), incarceration for a period of up to one (1) year, and suspension of fishing privileges for a period of thirty-six (36) months, provided that the Court will only impose a fine greater than five thousand dollars ($5,000) if permitted by federal law. Suspension of fishing privilege shall begin on the day the judgment is entered. The Court may also require participation in appropriate treatment programs or alternative sentencing in lieu of incarceration.
