Rule 39. Community Court
A.Eligibility. A defendant convicted of a nonviolent misdemeanor may participate in Community Court.B.Procedure. A defendant that seeks to participate in the Community Court may do so by entering into a Community Court plea agreement. Following entry of such a plea agreement, the defendant shall appear before the Community Court every fourteen (14) days for an update on progress in complying with the Community Court program.C.Failure to comply. A defendant who fails to comply with the terms of the Community Court program may be sentenced under the original sentence for the underlying charge.
