Medical Assessment/Treatment. Juvenile Court may order medical assessment of child for juvenile offense involving alcohol or substance abuse to determine mental or physical state so appropriate steps can be taken to protect child’s health. Court may order examination by physician, psychiatrist or psychologist. Court may order child transferred to appropriate facility for up to 60 days for diagnosis with written report indicating most suitable disposition.
