Section 11.04 Referral for Treatment
(A) In place of, or in addition to, a fine, the Tribal Court may refer a Defendant to mental
health providers including an alcohol/substance abuse program, and/or social services
program for counseling and/or treatment.
(B) After completion of an evaluation, the agency conducting the evaluation shall report
its findings and recommendations to the Tribal Court or an officer assigned by the
Tribal Court.
(C) The Tribal Court may order mental health providers to submit progress reports of
treatment. An officer assigned by the Tribal Court will monitor the person’s progress
in his or her treatment program.
(D) Residential treatment is an option if requested by the person who violated this
Ordinance and if recommended by a mental health provider, an alcohol/substance
abuse program, or social services program.
