4. INTOXICATION.

C. The court may, in its discretion or at the request of another, commit a
person convicted of intoxication, if he or she is a repeat offender, to an
alcoholic rehabilitation facility for residential treatment, or require the
person to participate in an out-patient counseling program designed
and supervised by an alcohol or drug rehabilitation program as a
condition of probation or in lieu of a jail sentence.
