(1) Jurisdiction.
2) Purpose. The Purpose of the Ute Healing and Wellness Court, as established in Title I, Chapter 3 of the Ute Indian Tribe Law and Order Code, is to provide an alternative path toward rehabilitation for Tribal members suffering from addiction to controlled substances and to reduce the recidivism rate for drug-related offenses by providing participating offenders the structure, discipline, and resources to overcome addiction.
