This webinar focuses on restorative justice legislation and the key components for establishing legal frameworks that support the implementation, expansion, and sustainability of restorative justice in the criminal legal context. By providing legal recognition, standards, protections, resources, and accountability mechanisms, legislation is critical in advancing restorative justice principles and promoting equity, healing, and accountability within communities across the country. The NCORJ Restorative Justice Laws Database resource will also be highlighted.
